Review: The Little Red Book of Fly Fishing

I give it 5 out of 5 stars.

I give it 5 out of 5 stars.

The Little Red Book of Fly Fishing is an absolute wealth of knowledge. Written by Kirk Deeter and Charlie Meyers, they provide nuances, tips, “cheats,” and wisdom that is so applicable to every fly fisherman. After finishing the book I literally felt like I could catch two or three times the number of fish that I usually did. Granted I hadn’t been fly fishing for very long, but I believe this book is helpful for beginners and experts alike. It’s a book I will probably read every February to gear me up for the season as the days start to get longer and spring is just around the corner. You couldn’t ask for a better book of tips about all aspects of fly fishing.
